Chattanooga
Head Coach: J.D. Kyzer (USC Spartanburg, 1985) • 14th season
The Mocs are 1-2 on the year with a shutout win over Tennessee Temple and a hard fought 3-2 loss at Alabama State. Junior Crystal Mackezyk and sophomore Hannah Wyatt lead the team with five points apiece. Each has two goals and one assist on the year with Mackezyk taking a team-high 11 shots. Sophomore Clare Latham has a pair of goals while sophomore Melanie Arredondo scored her goal from midfield. Sophomore Lauren Thomas has started all three games in goal for the Mocs and has 16 saves on the year with a .696 saves percentage.

UNC Asheville
Head Coach: Michelle Demko • 4th season
UNC Asheville dropped its second match of the season Friday night with back-to-back losses against the Southern Conference. After falling 1-0 to Wofford last Sunday, the Bulldogs fell in a 2-0 decision at Appalachian State. Through four games, four different players have scored one goal for UNCA with Amanda Dailor leading the team in scoring with three points. She has one goal and one assist while Kennedy Garrett had a team-high two assists. Keeper Heather Muller has started all four games and has tallied 23 saves while giving up four goals.

The last time they met ….
The two teams have met just once with the Bulldogs coming away with a 6-1 victory. UNCA outshot the Mocs 19-9 with Chelsea Hurst scoring UTC’s lone goal on her two shots. Five different UNC Asheville players scored with Robyn Busha tallying a pair in the effort. UTC keeper Milla Junni played all 90 minutes in goal making six saves.

The two schools have met just once with UNCA coming away with a 6-1 victory in Asheville in 2007.
