The Chattanooga Lady Mocs used a walk-off RBI single by junior shortstop Ninjja Suetsugu (Sao Paulo, Brazil) to clinch a 9-8 win in game one against UAB, but would fall in the nightcap, 6-2, at Frost Stadium. Freshman outfielder Cheyenne Willis (Manchester, Tenn.) and sophomore outfielder Stephanie Rieck (Chandler, Ariz.) at the top of the lineup combined for eight hits in the doubleheader.

The Chattanooga Lady Mocs softball team registered a 4-1 triumph before registering a 10-2 victory after five innings on Saturday afternoon at Frost Stadium. Lady Mocs head coach Frank Reed, now in his 11th season guiding the program, achieved his 900th career win, which includes 476 victories at Chattanooga State, in game one.

The Chattanooga Lady Mocs completed a marathon game that started Saturday and was completed Sunday, which included several record setting performances in a 16-2 five inning victory at Appalachian State. Senior designated player Michelle Fuzzard (Huntington Beach, Calif.) had a career game driving in a school-best nine runs on two home runs, a double and walk at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium.
