Caleb Whitted came on board as Director of the UTC Mocs
Club in June 2012. He is responsible for the growth of the Mocs main
fund-raising arm.
Caleb came to Chattanooga from Ball State University in
Muncie, Ind. He served as the Athletic Development Doctoral Assistant working
with the Cardinal Varsity Club beginning in August 2010. He assisted in all
aspects of fundraising efforts that netted $1.8 million dollars in the fiscal
year 2011.
Whitted managed benefits for donors - including parking,
game-day hospitality, event invitations and the Cardinal Insider - and
coordinated the Cardinal Club Room for men's basketball games. He led donor bus
trip for football and men's basketball and implemented new benefits and
donation structure with the CVC board to provide a better donor experience.
Prior to BSU, Whitted spent a year as External Affairs
Assistant at the University of Evansville (2009-10). He was Event Management
Intern at Ohio State during the 2008-09 academic calendar working also with the
Columbus Crew ticket office during that time. His first taste of athletics
administration came at Indiana State University as Compliance and Academic
Assistant in 2006-07.
Caleb earned his undergraduate degree in Physical
Education from ISU in May 2008. He added his Master's in Sports Management from
Ohio State in December 2009.
A native of Zelma, Ind., he and his wife Jodi are
settling into Chattanooga. He expects to complete his E.d.D in Adult, Higher
and Community Education, cognate in Sports Administration in May 2014.
