The Chattanooga Mocs are in third at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring. They'll need to make up seven shots to claim their 3rd title of the season.

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team slipped into third-place at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic. The ladies combined to shoot 313, and their 596 total is seven shots behind co-leaders College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina (589).
Today's 18 shifted from Osprey Point to Oak Point Golf Course. That led to a 30-stroke difference in scores after an opening 283 on Sunday. Birdies were scarce with just six on the counting cards for the Mocs.
Emily McLennan led the way with a 3-over 75. That dropped her into a tie for third at -1 with fellow first round leader Malene Krolboll Hansen (Coastal Carolina). Fatima Cano (Troy) leads at -3, while Heather Munro (Elon) is second at -2.
It was a tough day all-around for the Mocs. Monica San Juan's 78 was second to McLennan, while Cris Perez, Megan Woods and Isabella Loza all turned in 80s. Perez (150) is tied for 23rd, San Juan (151) tied for 35th, Woods (152) tied for 41st and Loza (153) tied for 49th.
Final round is a 9 a.m., shotgun start. The Mocs are paired with Coastal Carolina and CofC starting on holes 1-3. Click the live scoring and pairings links above for more information.
