The Chattanooga Mocs women's basketball team is dancing for a fourth straight year and all fans are invited to the party!

The Mocs will find out their fate Monday evening when ESPN airs the Women's Selection Show Special presented by Capital One at 7 p.m. UTC will host a gathering at the University Center Auditorium on campus. Doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m. for fans. There is no admission to this event.

ABOUT THE MOCS
The Mocs (24-7) won its 20
th regular season Southern Conference title as co-champs with Mercer. Chattanooga and the Bears (24-8) battled it out in the SoCon Tournament final with UTC coming out on top 65-57 for its 17
th tournament crown and fourth straight. This will be the Mocs' 14
th trip to the NCAA Tournament and third under head coach
Jim Foster.

Chattanooga is on an 11-game win streak, tied for 10
th longest in school history. In league play, the Mocs fell on the road at Mercer and Samford in back-to-back losses, their first since 2012, snapping a 52-game SoCon win streak. Chattanooga did keep its SoCon home court win streak together with 43 consecutive.

For just the second time in school history, the Mocs have won four straight league tournament titles. The last time that happened was 2001-04. Chattanooga was seeded 10
th in the NCAA and came away with a first round win over Rutgers at the Roundhouse but fell in the next round to Vanderbilt.

Senior Alicia "Red" Payne will end her career with lots of hardware. She earned her second SoCon Defensive Player of the Year award and was selected the SoCon Tournament MVP. For the first time, she was named to the all-conference team and the all-tournament team. She amassed 342 career assists and ranks ninth on UTC's all-time list.

Junior
Jasmine Joyner earned spots on both the All-Conference and All-Tournament teams as well. She has 313 career blocked shots and is 26 shy of the SoCon all-time record and needs just seven more to match her SoCon single season record of 132 set last season. Three times this season she has recorded eight blocked shots in a game, matching the school record she set last season at Notre Dame.

Joyner leads the Mocs in scoring with 12.9 points per game and leads the league with 9.3 rebounds. While having led the nation for much of the season, she is currently ranked second with 4.03 blocked shots per game.

Redshirt junior
Queen Alford came on strong during SoCon play and is ranked third on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game and has 4.3 rpg and leads the team with 34 3-pointers. Sophomore
Keiana Gilbert is second on the team in scoring (12.6 ppg) and rebounding (5.6 rpg) and is shooting a team-high 47.2 percent with 24 long range bombs.

Jim Foster has 865 career wins, passing former Georgia head coach Andy Landers (862) on the all-time list and is currently tied with Montana's Robin Selvig for eighth on the chart.
