University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Vice Chancellor & Director of Athletics David Blackburn announced that rising country star Dylan Scott will play the Mocs Block Tailgate before the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 1.

The concert is a FREE event for all fans that begins at 5:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) on Chestnut Street, the scoreboard end of Finley Stadium.  Scott just released his self-titled debut album on Friday which can be found at http://flyt.it/DylanScott. He is one of Spotify's Spotlight on 2016 Country Artists.

"We are excited to have Dylan Scott come and play for our fans before the Shorter game on Sept. 1," stated Blackburn.  "He will help us draw a crowd to our new student-driven tailgating section on the Chestnut Street side of the stadium.

The Mocs Block is a new pregame tailgate party located on the east side of Finley Stadium (Chestnut Street/Scoreboard Side) that is open to fans of all ages and features a UTC student tailgate.  Different artists are already lined up to play pregame at each home contest in 2016.
