Mocs Call for White Out Saturday vs. ETSU

A White Out is forecast for the Chattanooga Mocs women's basketball team this Saturday at the Roundhouse.

Fans, don your favorite white outfit and head over to McKenzie Arena for the Mocs' Southern Conference home opener at 2 p.m. The first 3,000 fans will receive a "White Out" t-shirt at the gate.

The Mocs are 8-8 overall and opened SoCon action on the road last week with wins over both Samford and Mercer to run their SoCon regular season win streak to 10 games.

Jasmine Joyner earned National Mid-Major and Southern Conference Player of the Week honors for her performance. She averaged 22 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocked shots.

This will be the 76th meeting between the Mocs and the Bucs who began competing against each other in 1975. ETSU rejoined the Southern Conference in the 2014-15 season after a nine-year absence and the two teams met in the SoCon Tournament finals. The game went into overtime, but the Mocs would come out victorious for their 16th conference tournament crown.
