On what's improving as a team...
"We are starting to have a better sense of who we are, we just need to be disciplined in the frame work. We learn as we go along, we are in a learning mode which is good.
 I think we did a pretty good job of knowing where people were, and defending them the way we wanted to."

On deciding who takes crucial shots...
 "It depends on who's taking it. If it's the right person then that's good. If it's someone who only has three seconds left and they are trying to get creative then that's not what we want."

On communicating with teammates... 
"I think for the most part we did. The key of course was communication, constantly talking and letting each other know where Bridges was at and where Tarter was at. So I think when we were talking and communicating we were more successful with that."

"I just try and stay smart. I had gotten an early foul so I just had to play smart. I had my hands right open, and honestly, the ball just came to my hand. My first half mentality was play smart."

On the game plan against ETSU...
"Well, we know they have two great shooters on their team so we focused on communication. We had to talk more, and we just had to play solid defense and box out because they also have outstanding rebounders."

On keeping level heads during the game...
"That's one thing Coach Foster and I always talked about, just be mature. You can't always block everything out. Like I said, I had an early foul, so I tried to stay out of their reach. Sometimes I go there and my arm is there and I get an over the back call, basically, I just have to play smart, that's my mentality."
