CHATTANOOGA – The Chattanooga Mocs softball team is set to host 'Meet the Mocs' on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m., in the UTC Indoor Hitting Facility. The event is FREE and promotes the upcoming 2017 season.
Head Coach
Frank Reed will preview his 2017 roster and introduce returning players as well as the newcomers. After player introductions, the team will participate in a light practice on their indoor field, including hitting and fielding.
Following the workout, coaches and student-athletes will sign autographs and hand out posters and schedule cards. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a fun night while meeting the 2017 Mocs softball squad.
The UTC Indoor Hitting Facility is located at 1254 E 3
rd Street inside the Frost Stadium complex.
Chattanooga will start the 2017 season on Feb. 10 in Clermont, Fla., against Morgan State as part of the NTC Tournament. The Mocs will also face Liberty and Fairleigh Dickinson in addition to Morgan State during the tournament.
Softball season tickets are on sale now. A season ticket is $50. Individual games are $5 for adults and $3 for youth, except the Chattanooga Challenge and Frost Classic are $10 a day for adults and $5 a day for youth. Information on those tournaments can be found at the links above.
