CHATTANOOGA --- In the final regular season weekend at Frost Stadium, the Chattanooga Mocs softball team is set to host UNCG for a three-game SoCon series on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday will feature a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. and Sunday is a single game at 2 p.m. Before first pitch on Sunday, the Mocs will host 'Senior Day' and honor seniors Katy Richardson and Jesslyn Stockard, and manager Baylee Cothron.

The Mocs (12-32, 2-10 SoCon) fell in two non-conference games last week to Tennessee Tech and Lipscomb before Tuesday's matchup with Austin Peay was cancelled. UNCG (24-20) enters the weekend coming off a 1-1 weekend against Furman as the final game of the series was washed out. Full game preview, ticket & promotional information can be found below.

Saturday's doubleheader (Buy Tickets - Saturday) is loaded with promotions including the 'dunk tank' where you have a chance to dunk fellow UTC coaches, faculty and staff. Free t-shirts for students as well as post-game autographs are also on Saturday's schedule. Opponent Preview | UNCG (24-20, 7-4 SoCon)
UNCG is coming off a rain-soaked weekend where they saw Sunday's series finale against Furman cancelled due to inclement weather. They split with the Paladins on Saturday and are currently 7-4 in SoCon play. They took two of three games two weekends ago against Samford and has a series sweep over Western Carolina earlier this season. Alicia Bazonski leads the Spartans in the circle with a 15-13 record and 3.51 ERA in a team-high 33 appearances. Marisa Sholtes leads the offense with a .323 batting average and has 7 homeruns, 20 RBI at a .692% slugging percentage.

- The Southern Conference Championship returns to the Scenic City for a record tenth time as the Mocs have won the most tournament crowns, 14, in its history with the last coming in 2015.
