With just over a week before the start of the 2017 Southern Scuffle, presented by Compound Clothing, it is time to starting taking a look at the field. With nine preseason top 25 teams making their way to Chattanooga on Jan. 1-2, the competition is going to be fierce.
Today's list includes the top individuals in the 125 and 133 brackets. Rankings are based on the Asics Flo Rankings from Dec. 19, and former Scuffle placers are also included.

Did You Know - Appalachian State, Duke, North Carolina, The Citadel and Virginia are the only teams that have competed in the Southern Scuffle every year since it began in 2003.
Oklahoma State's Kaid Brock went up against Cornell's eventual 133 champion Nahshon Garrett in the semifinals in 2016.
