We are now just days away from the start of the 2017 Southern Scuffle, presented by Compound Clothing, and the field is shaping up to be just as competitive as ever. All eyes in the wrestling world will be on McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Jan. 1-2.
Today's list includes the top individuals in the 141 and 149 brackets. Rankings are based on the Asics Flo Rankings from Dec. 19, and former Scuffle placers are also included. There could be some movement from one weight to another, and all of that will play out when the official brackets are announced just prior to the start of the tournament.

Did You Know - There are three former Scuffle Individual Champions in the field, including Oklahoma State's Dean Heil (141-'16), Cornell's Gabe Dean (184-'14, '15 & '16) and Missouri's J'Den Cox (197-'15).
Drexel's Matt Cimato advanced to the semifinals before placing sixth at the 2016 Scuffle. He is currently No. 15 at 149.
